The right factory, not just a factory

Anyone can find a supplier online. We find the one that can actually build your product to spec, at a price that works, with a minimum you can afford to test.

Eastway agents scouting suppliers at a trade show

The Problem

A search box is not a sourcing strategy

Type a product into a B2B marketplace and you get thousands of listings — most of them trading companies reselling the same goods, prices quietly inflated because the buyer is overseas, and minimum orders set high enough to keep tyre-kickers out. Pick wrong and you discover it only after the deposit is gone.

Sourcing well means knowing which factories are real, which quote is honest, and where a minimum can actually bend. That knowledge lives on the ground, in Chinese, inside the manufacturing provinces — not in a search result. Choosing a partner is also where supplier verification begins, so the factory you like on paper survives a look in person.

What We Do

From "we need this" to a factory that can make it

Spec to shortlist

You send a drawing, a sample or a competitor link. We translate it into a manufacturing brief and match it against factories we already know can build it — by capability, not by ad spend.

Real factories, not middlemen

We separate genuine manufacturers from trading companies reselling at a markup, so you negotiate with the people who actually own the machines.

Samples, managed

We request, collect, photograph and courier samples from several candidates at once — then line them up side by side so you compare like for like.

Price negotiation in Chinese

Our agents negotiate on the ground, in Mandarin, at local market rates — closing the gap between the "foreigner quote" and the price a domestic buyer would pay.

MOQ that fits a first order

We push back on inflated minimums, combine runs and find factories comfortable with startup volumes, so testing a product does not mean betting the company.

Trade-show scouting

Our field agents walk the Canton Fair, Yiwu and industry shows for you — returning with shortlists, samples and vetted contacts instead of a stack of business cards.

What You Get

Facts you can decide from

  • Candidate shortlist

Three to five vetted factories with real names, locations and capability notes — not anonymous listings.

  • Side-by-side quote sheet

Unit price, tooling, MOQ, lead time and payment terms compared in one table you can actually decide from.

  • Physical samples

Collected, labelled and shipped to your door, with reference photos of each before it leaves China.

  • Negotiated terms

The price and minimums we secured on your behalf, with the local-rate benchmark we started from.

  • Indicative landed cost

A realistic all-in estimate — ex-works, freight and duties — so the cheap quote is not a surprise later.

  • A clean handover

Chosen supplier passed straight into verification, quality control and production follow-up with no lost context.

The Course

How we chart it

  1. 01

    Brief & spec

We turn your idea, sample or reference into a precise manufacturing brief — materials, tolerances, target price and target quantity.

  2. 02

    Market scan

We run the brief across our factory network and open market, screen out traders, and draw up a shortlist of genuine makers.

  3. 03

    Samples & evaluation

Samples come in from several factories at once. We photograph, compare and flag the ones worth your attention.

  4. 04

    Negotiation

Our agents negotiate price, MOQ and terms in Chinese, then hand you a clear side-by-side to choose from.

  5. 05

    Charted for production

Your chosen supplier moves straight into verification and quality control — the same team stays on course.

FAQ

Sourcing, answered

Do you charge a markup on the factory price?

No. You see the real factory quotes we negotiate. We work on a transparent service fee tied to the scope — sourcing only, or the full chain through production, quality control and delivery. No hidden margin buried in the unit price.

Can you help if I only have a rough idea, not a spec?

Yes. A photo, a competitor link or a napkin sketch is enough to start. We turn it into a manufacturing brief, come back with feasibility and indicative pricing, and refine from there — the first consultation costs nothing.

What if the minimum order is too high for a first run?

We negotiate startup-friendly minimums and often consolidate multiple suppliers into one shipment through our logistics service, so you can validate a product before committing to volume.
