Privacy Policy

Eastway United Limited (“Eastway”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we come into contact with when you visit this website or get in touch with us, and what we do with it. This site is intentionally simple: it does not run accounts, logins or e-commerce checkout, and that keeps the amount of data involved small.

What information we receive

We do not collect information through this website automatically. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us — for example, your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message, when you:

  • fill in and submit the contact form;
  • email us directly at info@eastwayltd.com; or
  • call or message us at +852 9817 1356.

The contact form on this site does not submit to a server. It opens your own email client with the message prefilled, and the email is sent from your account to ours in the ordinary way — the same as if you had written to us directly.

No accounts, no cookies we set

This website does not require you to create an account, and we do not use cookies of our own to track you, build a profile of you, or serve you targeted advertising. There is no shopping cart, login or preference storage here.

Analytics

We do not currently run any analytics or tracking software on this site. If that changes in the future — for example, to understand which pages are useful — we will update this policy to describe what is collected and why.

Server logs

Like virtually every website, this site is served by hosting infrastructure that automatically records standard technical logs for security and reliability purposes — things such as IP address, browser type, and the time and page of each request. We do not use these logs for marketing, and access to them is limited to what our hosting provider needs to keep the site running and secure.

How we use what you send us

Information you send us through the contact form, by email or by phone is used solely to respond to your enquiry, discuss your sourcing needs and, if you choose to proceed, deliver our services. We do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent, and we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share relevant details with parties directly involved in fulfilling a request you have made — for example, a factory or logistics partner working on your order — strictly as needed to carry out that work.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and business correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain our business relationship with you and to meet our own legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or archived securely.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal obligation we may have to retain certain records. To make any of these requests, simply email us at info@eastwayltd.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for instance if we add new features to the site, such as analytics. The “Effective” date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.

Governing law

Eastway United Limited is registered and operates from Hong Kong, and this policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
